Santiago Capital provided site acquisition finance to the borrower. The promoter intends to demolish existing buildings which are not in use and to develop 28 apartments on the site, which is in a prime city centre location. This project just received its grant of planning permission for 28 apartments and 2 commerial units in February 2021. This is another example of Santiago Capital identifying projects in urban locations zoned for residential development that were former industrial/commerial building, now being repurposed for residential development.
